You couldn't be more wrong....the vast majority of the young men AND women who serve in our military today do so because they heard and answered a calling to serve their country.
It's also clear you haven't been around any military personnel recently....they are among the most gifted, dedicated, and PROFESSIONAL people I've had the privilege of knowing.
Finally, they are proud to be called soldiers, trained as warriors, to defend and protect the freedom of Americans, and those around the world who are unable to protect themselves. They defend with their lives the freedom of people such as you who spew paragraph after paragraph of Bush/America hating rhetoric.
The next time you encounter a U.S. Army soldier I suggest you thank him or her for her service on your behalf.
An Army MomMarianne Conehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13123738525471919644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4906182991797508426.post-10278338920372892622008-07-30T09:41:00.000-04:002008-07-30T09:41:00.000-04:00Warrior: n. 1. a man engaged or experienced in war...Warrior: n. 1. a man engaged or experienced in warfare, soldier.
2. a person who has shown great vigor, courage, or aggressiveness, as in politics.

So I guess the term as used by the Army is not only appropriate but fitting, unless of course you disagree with Webster and Random House. Had you looked up Warrior you would have realized the Army is paying homage to our wounded men and women who have earned the tag through their sacrifice, blood, sweat, and tears for our great nation. But had you done so you would not have had a reason to jab the Army!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00018878420485813782noreply@blogger.com
